DURANT BARRISTERS TEACHES OTHER LAWYERS AND FUTURE LAWYERS

Erin Durant has been invited to speak at two upcoming Ontario Bar Association Programs.
​
On September 27 she will join judges of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Appeal and major law firms on a program about legal writing. Erin's topic is presenting the facts in a persuasive way.
​
The following month from October 28-29, Erin will be participating in "Anatomy of a Trial: Successful Trial Strategy" with leading trial lawyers and judges. This is a can't miss event for lawyers looking to fine tune their trial skills.
​
Leslie Anne St. Amour will also be busy giving back to the legal community. She has agreed to appear as a guest speaker at Ryerson University about the importance of mental health in the legal profession.
ERIN DURANT IS ONCE AGAIN RECOGNIZED IN BEST LAWYERS IN CANADA

Our founder Erin Durant was recognized again this year by fellow lawyers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in Canada publication. This year Erin was recognized in three different practice areas: professional malpractice litigation for her work defending other lawyers, insurance law and corporate and commercial litigation.
DURANT BARRISTERS SUPPORTS MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS

Erin Durant spoke at two events focused on improving mental health and wellness in the legal profession. The first was a panel discussion with experts hosted by LawPRO and the Toronto Lawyers Association. The second was a workshop hosted by the Advocacy Club in Ottawa. Erin Durant was recently named by the Advocates' Society as a Member-at-Large with the Personal Injury and Insurance Practice group. The group is made up of leaders within the personal injury and insurance litigation bar from across Canada and prepares educational events and networking opportunities for lawyers.
